Background

The logo for DAAPworks 2019 was designed by Brendán Murphy (DAAP MDES '94) from Lippincott.

Working under the guidance of Dean Probst, my main role for the spring semester was to create a cohesive system across all the different print, digital, and experiential outputs based on the logo. During this time, I was responsible for the design, decision-making, production, and development of the deliverables.

The print and experiential deliverables went through multiple rounds that involved doing test prints for color, checking typography and legibility, adhesiveness to surfaces, and quality of materials to ensure the final deliverables were printed true to what was envisioned. Based on the logo provided, I created a pattern with the elements to be used throughout the system. Internally, I worked with faculty, staff, and students to gather information as needed, setting a timeline for everything and staying on track for the opening reception.

Marketing & Collateral

The following were are select pieces created to help educate and inform others about internal and external things happening.

Additional work included creating print and digital pieces that helped market events, programs, and classes of the college, along with internal office needs requests as needed. Print work ranged from posters to brochures to informational documents. The digital projects focused on website updates, documents, forms and social media content.
